Stacking the Shelves (161)/Sunday Post

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves or TBR piles, may it be physical or virtual.  This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, online, books you borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews. And it now has a new co-host where individuals can link up as well - Marlene from Reading Reality.  Clicking on the book (or title) should take you to the Goodreads page.  I'm also now linking up with the Sunday Post which is hosted by Kimberly@Caffeinated Book Reviewer

So first of all I stopped by the library that's further off the beaten path for me this week as I was in that neck of the woods.  They had 2 CDs I wanted to grab to listen to - the new one Justin Timberlake and another by The Chainsmokers.  While there, of course I had to grab a book or two so here's what else came home with me.

I've been wanting to read "Saga Vol. 8" since it was released and "Leaving Jack" was a complete impulse grab - there was a dog on the spine and I saw it when I walked by the stacks!

So that's pretty much it this week.  I think I may have missed an arc but as time is short, I'll just add it next week.

What did you guys add to your shelves this week???

  2. Leaving Jack looks like one of those books that I would have to read with a box of tissues sitting next to me. Can't wait to hear how it was.

  4. Great choices this week. I have the first Saga but haven't gotten to it yet. I assume since you are on 8 that it's good? I may have to give it a shot this weekend. Thanks for sharing! Have a great week.

    1. Yes you do. Hey, did you see there is a new Tremors, I think #4, on Netflix? You need to feature it in your movies that suck feature.

  8. Yikes, I'm so behind on Saga! I think I'm about two volumes behind. Funny thing is, I own all the trade paperbacks, but they just stack up on my bedside table waiting (someday!) to be read.

  12. I really need to continue the saga series, I've only read the first two. Sadly, I can't borrow any of them from my library and comics are quite expensive. I hope you'll enjoy both books!

    1. I know, I rarely buy any. I just grab them from the library...but I've recently gotten access to Hoopla so that helps.

  19. I signed up for a blog tour in June for Atticus by Sawyer Bennet. There is a dog on the cover. I have been looking at this book since the cover reveal a few months back. The dog plays quite a role according to the synopsis. Jill Shalvis is an author who makes dogs important in some of her books. I love Kevin (a dog) who lives with the firefighter.
